As the light started to fall, a pink hedgehog with a red dress, short hair, and a happy sparkle in her eyes, was walking home. She was normally inside a lot earlier, but she decided to walk longer to collect her thoughts. All the children were already in their homes, cuddling with their parents while hearing a story to help them fall asleep. Amy felt a pang of jealousy, for she never knew her parents; they abandoned her when she was young. As Amy was walking, she was thinking of why she chased Sonic in the first place. "All that Sonic did was come and save me and save the world, I don't see how that's special, Shadow did, I did, and Shadow is a lot more nicer. Meanwhile in the future.....

     A pink hedgehog with a black, sparkling dress and a bracelet with a black eye on it, came into the dark living room. The room contained a red recliner, a red rug leading from the door, to the recliner, to a fireplace in front of the recliner. In the recliner, was a sleeping, black, male hedgehog with red stripes. The pink hedgehog came towards the black hedgehog and started to scratch his ear. The male started to purr, then started to open his ruby red eyes. The female giggled and said in his ear, "Good morning my dark knight, had a nice nap?" The male got up and kissed the female. "I had a dream."
"What was the dream?"
I dreamed of you, but you were younger and cheerful, and you loved Sonic."
"That was a long time ago, I was young and I stopped loving him on my 13th birthday."
"Anyway, you tripped over a rock with a red glow, then you came in this present time and you, the past you, stopped us from taking over the world. Then...a huge, pink, lightning bolt came and killed you in the present time."
"Do you think this is a vision, Shadow?"
"I think it was, but which one of us is going back?"
"I will, I know where I most likely be."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
Shadow kissed the female, and she walked towards a jewel which contained unlimited power.
"Don't lose that Chaos Emerald!"
"Have I ever lost a Chaos Emerald, Shadow?"
"No"
"My point exactly."
"Good luck and be careful, Amy."
Amy kissed Shadow on the cheek and disappeared in a flashing light.
